Hi, I’m a Yorkshire-man.  You may not think that’s important.  For me, it is.

Despite having been away from the county for many years, I still identify with it. It is who I am and where I belong.  I can’t know how my life may have eventuated had I not left.  I do suspect that, albeit pointlessly, it would have been better had I stayed.  However, one thing that has never left is my Yorkshire generosity, caring and bluntness.  So, while desiring no harm to anyone, including those who would be most opposed to my views, beliefs or ideals, I will stand up, speak out, even SHOUT about what I consider to be injustices, gratuitous self-interest, deliberate abuse, manipulative control and insidious conditioning. 

My idealism and open feelings and concerns are what motivates the posts that I make.  I welcome any contributions, criticism or other points of view that any reader wished to make, providing that they are made in good faith and without rancour or abuse.
